Dhekelia, Cyprus, break-in at the cookhouse. Tins of bully beef pinched. Some half-eaten chunks of bully beef left lying on the floor. Next morning the RSM assembles the Battalion.
'Who broke into the cookhouse last night?'
Nobody answers.
'You think you're fly, eh, but I've got your fingerprints on the bully beef!'
