This was taken on an inspection before a Church Parade on 11 Aug 1957 (4 days before my 18th birthday). Note NAAFI shop on left of arch, the grilled windows were the Dining Room and NAAFI. The barracks accommodation was immediately behind the platoon.

Corporal Jimmy Letham is right marker. Lance Corporal Shade Munro (later to be 2nd Lt Munro and my Platoon Commander in 'D' Company) is on the left of the front rank. I am right hand man of the centre rank.

Warrant Officer 2, "Ginger" Coleman is inspecting the rear rank.
