This was taken in Borneo on the first tour. These were all members of the military band.

They are from left to right Carl Glen (an Irishman who used to take delight in coming after me with a shillelagh whenever he had a mind to, ha ha) Roy Adams (an Englishman who was the band's percussionist and John (Tab) Hunter who played clarinet and could talk under ten feet of concrete. John came from (I think) Renfrew, though I'm not sure.

From memory the native in the photo was an ex-head hunter who'd taken a few Japanese heads during WWII.
